We are seeking an experienced MEP electrical designer / engineer with high performance building experience to join our successful and growing San Francisco based team.
Team Members at IEI contribute variety of high performance building projects in multiple market sectors. Our work takes us across the nation and around the globe.
Responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
Electrical layout and panel schedules
Document delivery coordination
Researching commercially available equipment
Design modeling in Revit
Serving as subject matter expert in client meetings
Multi-discipline design coordination
Qualified candidates will have:
BSEE or equivalent experience
3+ years with consulting firm specializing in MEP for high performance buildings
Knowledge of NFPA building codes
Ability to perform multiple functions in a multi-deadline environment
Ability to work effectively within a team orientated collaborative environment
Ideal candidates will have:
Working knowledge of Revit MEP
EIT certification- or interest in obtaining
LEED accreditation- or interest in obtaining
Excellent communication and time management skills
